It is a synthetic designer drug that mimics other illicit drugs.
It is sold over the internet, at raves and night clubs.
It is also known as 2CT-7, Bromo and Nexus.
It comes as white powder or tiny pills.
Normally swallowed, it can also be smoked or snorted.
At low doses, the effects are very similar to that of Ecstasy. At higher doses, the user experiences effects similar to those of LSD.
Users can suffer increased heart rate and higher blood pressure.
