A dangerous batch of contaminated cocaine may be on the streets of Northern Ireland, according to police.
The PSNI warned that the tainted class A drug could already be in counties Antrim and Derry.
Detective Superintendent Bobby Singleton from the PSNI's Organised Crime Unit said: "Police have received information that there may be a contaminated supply of cocaine in the Co Antrim and Co Londonderry areas.
"Anybody consuming these drugs could experience serious adverse effects.
"All drugs carry risks and have the potential to be a poison.
"I'd appeal to anyone with any information on these or other suspected drugs to contact police on the non-emergency number 101."
The Public Health Agency last night warned: "All drugs carry risks, so it is strongly recommended that you do not take anything unless it has been prescribed to you by a medical professional and in accordance with your prescription. It is particularly important that people are aware of the risks associated with taking a combination of substances, including alcohol.
"Mixing can increase the toxicity of the substances and can be deadly. If you or someone you know have taken drugs or have misused a medication and are feeling unwell, seek medical help urgently."
