Council planning ban on off-licence expansion

New off-licences will effectively be banned from the capital under Dublin's new development plan.

Councillors last night voted to restrict the expansion of any new or existing off-licences under Dublin City Council's draft development plan for 2011-2017 unless a "compelling case can be made".
