Citywide Prison Seminar

Citywide are hosting a Seminar aimed at updating Projects and Services on the current situation re the continuum of care of prisoners with substance abuse issues. The seminar will take place in:

North Star Hotel, Amiens Street, Dublin 1: Wednesday April 22nd 10.30am  – 1.00 pm (Tea/coffee and registration at 10.15am)

Inputs from:

  • The Irish Prison Service – Fergal Black, Director of Care and Rehabilitation, IPS
  • Community Prison Links Workers – Stacie Halligan, Prison Links Worker
  • Probation Services – Speaker to be confirmed
  • Pavee Point – Katayoun Bahramian, Coordinator, Drug & Alcohol Team

These will be followed by a participatory discussion which will seek to identify any gaps in provision and what role Citywide can play in addressing these gaps.

The seminar will be of benefit to all projects and services who have clients who are either currently in prison or likely to be in the future. We hope you can send someone along.
