Calls to speed up injection centre

It'll be next month before the Government announces details of an injection centre for the city, accoridng to Drugs Minister Catherine Byrne.

The plan was approved by the Dáil back in March, and it was hoped to be up and running by the end of 2017.

It was delayed when DCC said planning permission would be needed before any of its properties could be used for on-site drug taking.
