New alcohol legislation will help those on a health kick – Corcoran KennedyFor those on a January health kick, it is worth considering the calorie content of our alcohol consumption, a Fine Gael TD has said. Former Health Promotion Minister, Marcella Corcoran Kennedy, has said that the new alcohol legislation going through the Dáil, will for the first time ensure that alcohol products will be labelled to show the calorie content.
“Up until now, alcohol has been the only product not to require nutrition labelling.”
