The drugs.ie online outreach campaign: Get involved!

Are you interested in having unique drug and alcohol content on your website?

Take part in the new drugs.ie online outreach campaign, and you can!

Drugs.ie is looking to link in with other relevant websites and FaceBook pages, by offering a variety of ways to connect directly with various drugs.ie online initiatives and services. In doing so, you can enhance the level of drug and alcohol content on your website or social media channels, by connecting directly with Ireland’s one-stop-shop for all drug and alcohol information and support online.

Listed below are a number of ways in which you can get invloved in this campaign. You can also check out the Drugs.ie Online Outreach Promotional Video for further information; and see some practical examples of how some other websites and social media channels have become involved.

1. Launch the drugs.ie LiveHelper service from your website

Drugs.ie provides Ireland's only online interactive drug and alcohol information and support service - the drugs.ie LiveHelper service. Through our LiveHelper service, visitors to the site can chat anonymously with a member of the drugs.ie team, and receive one-to-one information and support relating to drug and alcohol issues.

You can launch this service directly from your website by adding a LivelHelper button on your site. We can provide you with the necessary link code, and a customised button for your website, in any dimensions or colour; ensuring that the button integrates into your site design.

2. A drugs.ie page tab on your FaceBook page

We have designed a drugs.ie FaceBook tab page, specifically for other FaceBook sites to easily integrate into their own FaceBook pages. The page tab will appear in the left hand column of your FaceBook page, as an additional section. This page will provide your FaceBook users with direct links to our LiveHelper service, our drug and alcohol services section, access to drugs.ie videos, and sign up to the drugs.ie eBulletin. We can install this for you, contact us for further information.

3. drugs.ie news feed

The drugs.ie news service provides daily news updates on drug and alcohol related issues and events from Ireland and beyond. This section is updated seven days a week, 365 days a year. By including our news feed on your site, you too can keep your website constantly updated by displaying a daily drug and alcohol news feed on any of your pages.

4. Include the drugs.ie promotional video

We have created a short drugs.ie promotional video which you can embed in your website, and/or uploaded to your social media channels. This promotional video is included at the end of the Drugs.ie Online Outreach Promotional Video below.
